On April 29th, 2014, China’s SASAC vice chairwoman, Huang Danhua, inspected CNBM Dubai Logistics Center and listened to the report concerning its “Going out” strategy, overseas investment and regulation made by Zhang Jinsong, vice presidentof China National Building Materials & Equipment Import & Export Corporation (CBMIE) and general manager of CNBM International Corporation.
Located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone and adjacent to UAE’s largest sea port--Jebel Ali and world’s largest airport---Al Maktoum, CNBM Dubai Logistics Center enjoys superior geographical position and convenient traffic. As part of an offline international marketing network and the first overseas logistic distribution center for CNBM Group, the Dubai Logistics Center consists of a 10,000-square-meter fully enclosed warehouse, a 25,000-square-meter container yard and 13 standard unloading platforms and meets the functions of “Storage, Logistics and Office.”
Dubai Logistics Center insists on localization operation. Uniting CNBM’s cross-border e-commerce platform OKorder and its international talent team, CNBM International created a brand new business mode called “one web, one center and one team”. This mode helps CNBM International control the upstream and downstream of supply chain by combining online and offline resources. As a great innovation in international trade field, “one web, one center and one team” mode integrates the disperse resources among different enterprises to reform a new resultant force which help greatly to improve the service quality and competitive ability for China’s export trade industry.
During the inspection, Huang Danhua spoke highly of the localization operation adopted overseas and gave full recognition to the “One website, one offline site and a talent team” business model initiated by CNBM Group featuring the integration of its international e-commerce website OKorder.com, Dubai Logistics Center and a professional team of experienced trade talents.
Huang Danhua also attended the seminar held by the Consulate General of China in Dubai with representatives from 28 SOEs as conferees.
